this is the last year of Obama. I know i’ll be accused of not wanting a black person to be President. I wish our President would have gotten the message,done better, got over himself.I wish he didn’t just talk …he says one thing and does another. He got the 3 a.m. call about Egypt. I am not going to say whether he said too much or too little.The pundits will argue that one endlessly.
I just wish he had said little sooner and more privately.
Some of the states are fighting obama care and the Dems are going to continue to paint opposition to Obama care as opposition to reform.It’d be nice to have reform and not this garbage under the title of ‘health care.’
You don’t write a complicated 2,000 page bill,make sleazy deals so you can look good to pass something and then not have the people who pass it actually read it.
Worse what the American ppl knew of it didn’t want and it passed anyway.So Obama gets a warning last Nov.It’s a repudiation in the elections and he STILL doesn’t get. Now we’re going to have ‘green energy’ and high speed rail and more investment(spending)in the same institutions that failed before. The first stimulus failed.Obamacare is a flop.His foreign policy is so terribly incohesive you have to wonder if he even has a foreign policy strategy? Someone in the administration said about the crisis in Egypt and the admins handling-and i QUOTE-”We’re struggling with this.”
I realize it’s a complicated matter but wasn’t he the one who could handle the 3:00 a.m. phone call.
He begins his foreign policy strategy by apologizing for America.
They said Sarah Palin was inexperienced. What do we have here?
It’s not because she’s inexperienced and he’s a real champ;it’s because she’s conservative(GASP)and pro life.
Period.End of story.It doesn’t have to go any further than that.
I don’t hate the man.I don’t know of anyone i hate.
I am weary of the left though.The bankrupt ideas they have.Their actual hate of Pres Bush.The constant attacks on him even to this day.
Their view of Obama as the Messiah.
It’s getting old and worn out.Like the charges of racism,hater,intolerant and greedy.I know there’s some i’ve mssed.
In the battlefield of ideas they don’t have anything to stand on,yet they’re the intellectual elitists.They are here to do the thinking for all us.The ones who are too stupid.I look at our country today and think often;i wish our Lord would return soon.i want to see my folks again anyway.i want the sadness and violence to end. I want the people who were so torn down(like Bush)and the peoiple who were so elevated in stature to be shown for who they really are.
Not to humiliate anyone or for revenge.I want us to see the truth in all its glory. Or as EWTN calls it,the splendor of truth.
i honestly do feel this way. We’re supposed to be waiting in joyful HOPE for the coming of our Savior,Jesus Christ(this is part of our liturgy). I don’t want anyone to take it upon themselves to facilitate the end.This is not in our realm.Neither Christian,Jew or Muslim is to take it upon themselves. It’s up to God.What we are to do is wait in joyful hope and ask Jesus to come.
Why would we not look forward to it? Suffering will end. We’ll see Jesus. We’ll see our loved ones again.
The Catholic Church will be resplendent in all her glory and be perfected. The Bride(the Church)and the Bridegroom(Jesus)will be seen by all.
For now i just look forward to Obama’s presidency coming to an end and hoping we don’t give him a second term.God helps us if we do.
For now i hope the people of Egypt will achieve their aspirations.
For now,i hope that some of the people of the US will wake up. We have to stop sleeping.
