The Great Apostasy

i’ve been at a forum going head to head with LDS about this supposed Great Apostasy.
The only way to justify LDS(Moronism)is to claim a great apostasy where certain beliefs have to be (as they put it)restored.There is a problem:1. There was no great and total apostasy 2.LDS did not restore doctrine.They changed orthodox Christian beliefs.Now i will grant you these are nice people and are sincere,but people can be sincerely wrong.
The debate is exhausting.They change definitions and then overwhelm with a lot of information and numerous posts. Every now and then another anti Catholic pops up.The problem with the anti Catholics who are also anti Mormon is that they tend to agree with this apostasy and that’s the whole foundation of LDS.
The LDS there see the enemy of my enemy is my friend.
There is a problem i have; controlling frustration which can give way to anger.
The other is to stay humble no matter what anyone says.
Am definitely very weak in these 2 areas and they need to be kept in check.This is why prayer is so important. It keeps us from falling prey to our worst tendencies,weaknesses and falling into sin without even being aware of it.Until it’s too late.
Prayer. Debate/discussion needs a time out now and then.
I recall JPII’s call to a new evangelization.This is necessary;prayer has to be part of that.
The truth stands on its own.
