John McCain could very well be!

Posted by: boxerpaws on: November 1, 2008

John McCain could very well be one of those rare Presidents at a pivotal time in our history.
He’s not George Bush. We know that raising taxes will send our economy into a tail spin-what’s happened so far would be nothing in comparison.Obama says he will not raise taxes on the middle class. The point is why raise taxes at all.We know very well with a rubber stamp Congress that once you open the door to raising taxes on this group of ppl it doesn’t take much to open the next door.
McCain wants to freeze spending EXCEPT on essentials. Good. They’re up they’re trying to spend like drunken sailors.
Obama wants to increase spending by trillions. You don’t spend your way out of a troubled economy and then have to tax.How else do you think those programs will be paid for? I’m also tired of this.PROGRAMS,PROGRAMS,PROGRAMS.Every election cycle we hear about these ‘programs’ and then it depends on whose programs you like best. All PROGRAMS do is increase the size of government and decide how the pie is going to be divided.Obama has got his eye on the pie.Pelosi and Reid are just waiting too.

WRONG! We need POLICIES and we need someone to make the tough decisions.
That’s John McCain.
I don’t totally agree w/ his health care plan but i can tell you Obama’s plans are killer.
Look at the slogans first of all.
Obama:
CHANGE WE NEED
McCain:
COUNTRY FIRST
I know they’re only slogans but they say a lot about the candidates.
Obama takes out an address to the nation that appeals to ppls emotions and i can tell you he did a focus group on the words he used to fine tune it to get a great response.
What he should have done was a press conference where ppl could actually ASK him questions.McCain took the fight to the ppl. He connected with a man named Joe,he connected with a man named Tito.
He connected with a Gov. named Sarah Palin. He connected with the ppl.
This is the kind of President we need. Not someone who spends millions on Greek columns,a lavish victory party and 6 million dollar infomercial. What does that tell you right there?
Got a clue?
Obama is not a bad guy;but he’s not the man for this job.NOT NOW.
He needs more than 104 days in the Senate to know about service to the country.Let him come back 4 yrs from now, get a record in the Senate and let us get to know who he REALLY is-then run for office!!
Anyone who shuts down hard questions, throws off reporters, gets rid of ppl who question him and avoids situations where he might slip(which he did in Ohio)-is not ready for the office of President!
Sorry.Common Sense.
